Im on half day leave yesterday as we worked too hard for the company =P Anyway, Samantha wanna watch a movie call,"等一個人咖啡" (Cafe. Waiting. Love).  The moment I heard the movie title, I was like WT? The movie title don't makes alot of sense to me. However, I still watched it if not she will be watching it alone.

Surprisingly when the movie end, I quite like it. Some of the quotes they said in the movie are very meaningful. Some parts are rather touching too. Im not a huge fan of romantic movie but at least there are some fun comedy parts in the movie itself.

Movie reviews: No String Attached

I went to watch, No String Attached on Tuesday all thanks to OMY.sg. It is a romantic comedy starring Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. This movie is about 2 friends who decide to be "friends with benefits," but ends up being more than just friends....

One of the funny scene that I like:

Instead of bringing a 'I love you' balloon to woo the one you love, Adam (Ashton Kutcher) bought a 'congrats' balloon. Haha!

Anyway, I think it is very hard to maintain a friendship with a guy or gal once you have sex with him or her. 1 of them will definitely fall in love with another. UNLESS both parties are not friends at all! So therefore they won't develop any further. Haha! Anyway, if you wanna know more about this movie, you should go watch it. Couples probably should catch this movie during Valentine's day =)

Movie Reviews: Red *SPOILER*

Firstly, thanks to omy.sg I got to watch this movie for free. I didn't really go read up what's the movie is all about so when I first see the movie title, Red, I thought it is gonna be a movie full of killing and bloody scene but I am wrong. Red actually stands for, Retired and Extremely Dangerous. Haha!

The movie begin with showing Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) is a retired CIA agent. When a squad of soldiers suddenly shows up in his apartment and trying to kill him, Moses is able to hold them off. After that scene, he immediately gets in touch with other retired agents to find out the reason behind this sudden attack. Along the way, he finally meets up with Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker), a woman whom he only get to chat on the phone with, but hopes to date her.

Probably the only part which I don't really like is that the movie had postcard scene during the transitions, it may be good to let us know where the characters are at but I find it distracting. Do look out for this character MarvinOverall (John Malkovich), his role in the movie is really hilarious. Overall, its a great movie with a good mixture of action and comedy.

Do catch it if you have the time =)

If I have the Sands of Time dagger...

I watched Price of Persia last night! It is awesome movie because Jake Gyllenhaal is in the movie! Lol! Just kidding. Overall the movie is alright even though it's predictable but still it's fun to watch.

If I have the Sands of Time dagger, I will probably used it on many occasion! Lol! I will probably use it during my primary school days. During those days, I should have pick to be better friend of SPY rather than someone else. What to do?! That time was like a tug-o-war, everyone is fighting to be friend with me and worse is they can't SHARE! All like same kids. Lol! Strange!

Then I might just use it again during my secondary school days, I will stop playing the stupid game call, A3 and I can retake my O level and go into polytechnic. Also, at the same time, I will tell my buddy, SPY not to get attached with that XX guy! After than I will tell her just go ahead and be with that Malaysian guy. He is much better than the cheater!

After the O level, my family & grassy went Genting, during that time I WILL TELL MYSELF NOT TO EAT LIKE A MAD WOMAN DURING THE BUFFET!!! That time was like hell for me, I vomit and etc etc... I even have to visit the clinic there =(

At the age of 21, which is probably the age when I graduate from poly (assuming if I manage to turn back time.HAHA) I will still do the same, get the same agent and get me into the bank job and met him =D Another is, I will straight tell A not to waste time on me. I might probably change for better and take less fake MCs. LOL!

Before my 21st birthday celebration, I will tell my bf to lock his bike so his bike will never be stolen and he would have appear in my 21st birthday celebration photos =(

I still got plenty of things I wish to change but it's all useless. So I rather take this time to treasure all my family and friends, especially Grassy & SPY. They are ones that I never wish change =)

Well, after movie, my sis, her hubby and dear went to eat Botak Jones. As its already like 9pm plus, I decided not to eat so much and so I shared the food with my dear.

The world is not going end afterall

What's the hype with 2012? 2012 is around 2 and a 1/2 hour movie, its special effects are great, there are also some exciting moment but the storyline so predictable. The whole flooding story is somehow similar to another movie, Flood.

If I'm the director, I will definitely change the ending. I will want all the ships to crash onto each other. Then there won't be any survivor or maybe just 1 or 2 survivors. This will leave the 1 or 2 mankind very lost in the whole universe! There won't be any hope for all mankind in 2012! Isn't this ending more exciting? Haha!

No man fall for girl's personality at first sight

All thanks to nuffnang! I won a per of ticket to watch The ugly Truth! It's my first time winning something from nuff I saw quite a few nuffnager there. I saw hpility & his friends, they were just 1 row infront of me and I saw Tammy, she seated right next to my bf. Haha. I know who they are but I doubt they even know me =P

Anyway, here's my short views about the movie. The scenes that grant Mike (Gerard Butler) the freedom to talk about relationships and sex are frankly hilarious. The movie somehow it is telling the truth about how man actually think about woman and the ugly truth about what love is all about.

The film suggests that while women tend to has a checklist for the perfect man and spend their leisure time reading books about men, whereas for men are very simple, they just genitals to act as their guiding compass. Haha.

2 good tips for woman who trying to impress the guy that they like:

From the movie:

1) Mike said, "men are simple…we cannot be trained. and all of this, 'Men are from Venus' crap is a waste of your time and money. If you want to be a lonely hag, then keep reading these books, but if you want a relationship, heres how you get one…It’s called a Stairstepper, get on it, and get skinny. and get some trashy lingerie while your at it, because at the end of the day all were interested in is looks. No one falls in love with your personality at first sight."

2) Woman shouldn't talk about her problems because guys don't care. Even some guys may care, they are just pretending to care!

Over the movie is predictable but hilarious. My bf and I enjoyed the movie very much and he too, very much agree with what the male lead actor said. Haha. You should watch it too! =)

Where got ghost? *SPOILER*

When I first heard of the movie title, the first thing that come to my mind is, "sian, another lame jokes movie from Jack Neo". I didn't plan to watch it but my bf want to and so we went to watch it yesterday. Overall it was 95% laughter, 5% horror. Haha.

This movie consist of 3 shorts story...

Roadside Got Ghost
The first story start off with these 3 medium men 'using' the ghost to cheat people's money by performing a fake ritual. The lao da (boss) among the 3 men also claime that there is no ghost in this world, they don't have to be guilty of cheating those people's money as they are just helping those people to give them a peace of their mind.

After that their lao da ask his 2 ka kia (helpers) to buy fruits for him. However, both of them forget to buy the fruits and out of convinient, they take the oranges which supposed to be an offering for the death and gave it to their lao da.

The story then continue with their lao dao came up with a brillant idea to cheat even more money. They called civilians to buy the lottery (fromt 0000 - 9999) and asking them to donate a 20 percent of their winning money, if the winning numbers open.

Towards the ending of ths story, the lao da also gets a phone call mimicking what he is doing and the winning number is 6666 and he won both the second and first prize. Due to his arrogant, he refused to believe that these numbers will given by a spirit of a granny (the ghost whom they took the oranges). In the end, he died a very terrible death. He ate the oranges that is meant for the dead and so, he is punished.

7th month tips 1: So, the next time you forget to buy fruits back, do not take fruits that are for the hungry ghost or they might just take your life away....

Forest Got Ghost
Next is an army story and they are ask to perform a topographical exercise. The reservist men are instructed not to take shortcuts. However, there are 2 stubborn men decided to go the easy way out - SHORTCUT!

After a long walk in the forest, these two men got lost in the jungle and they do not even know how to read a compass! 1 of the man, saw a female tomb and out of curiosity he walk over and even comment about her being 'pretty'. His fellow buddy keep telling him not to comment anything. For the first night, they both see a red faceless ghost and it scares the shit out of them.

Then the next day, they continued their forest walk. They were thirsty and out of nowhere, a fat lady comes along selling drinks and even offer them to go to her house for shelter as it is raining. In the house, 1 of the soilder went to peep @ the fat lady bathing and saw a horrifed scene and they quickly run away from the house but they both fall down and they saw the fat lady's tomb just right infront of them!!

The later part of the story is abit crapy due to the 'David Footballfield'. It's quite ridiculous.

7th month tips 2: Don't ever take shortcuts & if you EVER see a tomb along your way, DO NOT COMMENT ANYTHING ABOUT THEM! Or they will come after you!

House Got GhostLast story is like the continue story from the movie Money No Enough 2. This story involves the 3 brothers and their mother who has already pass away 1 year ago. 3 of them dream or saw their mother coming back to haunt them.

They feel very sick & tired that their mother did not bless them with wealth. Unlike their friend, whose mother bless him with tons of wealth.

Towards the ending, their late mother actually save the 3 brothers from a terrible landslide. And as for their wealthy friend, he get cancer and only left with 1 more month to live. This story ended in a quite heartwarming way

7th month tips 3: Your late parent may not bless with wealth but they will be watching over you, protecting you in heaven and making sure you are safe. Money is not everything, health & safety are everything that money can't buy.

Conclusion: If you want to have a good laugh and get scared at the same time, you should watch this! Your money won't be wasted!

Out of the darkness, comes the Knight.

I went to watch The Dark Knight last Saturday! It's really awesome. Out of so many superman, spiderman or whatever man, Batman is still my favourite so I'm kinda like a mini Batman fan as I love watching Batman since I was young.

**SPOILERS**

The Dark Knight opens with a bank heist sequence that highlights how the joker is always one step ahead of the criminals. Numerous men break into a bank controlled by the mob wearing clown masks and comment on how the Joker has put the whole thing together. The heist does not go to plan well at least not for all the gang. Then here comes the brilliant and funny parts...

Quotes for this part of the movie.

Dopey: That's funny, it didn't dial out to 911. It was trying to reach a private number.
Happy: Is there a problem?
Dopey: No, I'm done here.

I really really love the performance by Heath Ledger as The Joker. Sadly, this was his final major performance as it shows a whole different side of him as a performer and I now know that he has endless talents. To watch him walk away from an exploding hospital dressed as a nurse is probably my favourite moment from the movie.

Do I still need to speak further? Go watch it if you have not. Oh man, I so want to watch it again. Perhaps I will buy the DVD when its out. This movie deserve a 10 out of 10.

I wanna be an Iron man!

From the beginning to the end, this movie simply just blew you away. It's fantastic! It is definitely better that Superman or Spiderman. Haha!

The process of each step on how the the iron was done is detailed and I like it alot. I like the scene when he was @ the Afghanistan the most. The part whereby he was building his first suits. If you are interested, you have go read up some review =)

For those who have not watch it... What are you waiting for?

If I'm Iron man, I will fly to CSC and bomb the office. OOps =X I mean I will fly around to save those who needs my help =P

Alvin and the Chipmunks

The Chipmunks are so cute!! I thought the cartoon character of Alvin, Simon and Theodore won't be as cute as the one I saw it on the TV when I was young but I was wrong!

In fact, they make Theodore so much cuter than the cartoon version. I don't really like Simon in the past because he looks wayyyy too nerdy. However, in the movie he looks really like a cool nerd and therefore I change my impression about Simon. Haha.
I love the part whereby Theodore went to Dave's room and said that he had a nightmare and wondered if he could slept with him. The scene was like so sweet and touching. Unlike when they were with the bad uncle, Theodore asked the same question but he was kicked out of the room... *sob*
Anyway, go watch it if you have not done so!=D

Movie Review: Transformers

The trailer is enough to make you go, "woah". Needless to say about the full 144 min minutes of the movie. It is a MUST watch movie for all Transformers fans. Even if you are not a fan and you love action movie, one must not miss it!

The beginning of the movie already made my heart thumping and clasping my finger. When the devious Deceptions first invaded the Earth, it destroyed the entire base in Qatar. The scene really leave my mouth wide open. Haha.

Other than all the actions, some of the lines said by Sam Witwicky and the autobots was really funny. As a fan of Transformer since I was young, the moment I saw Bumble bee transformed itself from a car to a robot, I was really excited. Haha. The scene whereby he got caught and when he lost his 2 legs were really touching. My heart pained for him.

The most impressive aspect of Transformers was most certainly the special effects. The robot vs. robot fight scenes were, in a word, remarkable. The robots didn't seem computer generated at all. The interaction between human and robot was beautiful and flawless. It seemed like the actors were actually interacting with real, 50 foot tall robots during the movie.

Although the ending was a little flat(the death of the Megatron seems like chicken feet) I walked out of the theater in disbelief. Not because the movie wasn't what I thought it would be, but on the contrary, it was so much more than I had ever expected. It's really more than meet the eye!
I will rate it as the best action movie of the year!

Movie Review - Eragon

Christopher Paolini might be the next J.R.R. or Tolkien J.K.Rowling. Well, who knows? Maybe he will not be because he doesn't has a name like J.B or C.P. Haha. Anyway, who is Christopher Paolini? Who is the writer for the the novel, Eragon.

I have watched this movie just not too long ago at Cathy. It's really a good movie I should say. I thought it will be something like LOTR but it's not really so. Although I have never watch LOTR before but i know it's different.

Basically Eragon is a 17 years old farm boy but he is chosen to be a dragon rider and later he finds out that he has a fate to lead the dragon into battle and win the war against the evil king. But there is one flaw to having this dragon, if the dragon dies, the dragon dies and the boy will be still alive, but if the rider dies, so does the dragon, so they have to keep each other alive. Then this part about the rider dies, so does the dragon but if the dragon dies, they boy will be alive is so rather unoriginal and uncreative because it's similar or I should the same as the flim, Dragonheart.

The movie is more than just "one part brave, to three parts fool". Haha. Despite the lack of originality, it's still worth to spent your penny watching it.

I went to see The Terminal with my sis! This movie was really really awesome. I sugguest all of you to go and watch it. The show is really hilarious. I was laughing real hard when Navorski, the guy who stuck at the terminal, helping his friend to ask Dolores many many question.

There's also some part which are very touching, esp, when the Gupta, the cleaner, trying to stop the plane from flying and also when Navorski was telling Amelia that he promised to grant his late father's wish - to go to New York to get an certain jazz player's signature.

Erm.. I was bad in describing something because my English vocab. is limited. Haha! Hope whatever I said doesn't spoil the movie. Haha! It's a great movie! Tom Hanks is brilliant! Steven Spielberg is a great director! Oh.. what's more can I saw. You better go watch it, if you have not!

Tomorrow is going to be my D-Day!! Argh!!
