Not so blissful after all

We saw Bliss House at The Central and decided to try it because the interior decor is so nice! They got a nice floral entrance and a horse carriage ... Beautiful fountain and bridge. So we decided to go in and ordered our food.

 Total the bill was like $90+ and sadly the food was like SO mediocre that I will never go there again. I'd rather spend more money and dine at Forlino or just save the money to eat pastamania. -_-

Dinner at Chef Daniel's Kitchen

Last night, after watching Kungfu Panda 2 (an awesome movie), me and my buddies went to have our lunch at Chef Daniel's Kitchen - rooftop dinning. The atmosphere is really nice & calm. You will probably able to attain the 'inner peace' while eating there. (You need to watch Kungfu Panda 2 to know what I mean. Lol)

It is my first time there so I was expecting the menu to be full of EXPENSIVE food but to my surprise, it is really not what I think it is. The food the are pretty affordable.

We top up another $8 for soup for the day (corn soup) and dessert! The dessert was brownie and my friend was like, "you can't eat it!" (because I am having a sore gum due to heatiness) The waiter, who was serving us said, "I can eat it." That moment was so LOL!

My seared salmon - $20. The fish is really smooth and tender.
I actually wanted to order roast chicken or lamb BUT I  am having a sore gum so my friends urged me not to eat it =(

Spy's Aglio olio - $13. I seriously don't understand why she ordered this. Lol!

Grassy's grilled tuna steak - $22. I am not sure how it taste like but according to her, it is delicious.

The brownie is yummeh! What a nice dessert to end our day!
I finished every single bit of it and I teased that waiter that, "Im sorry, I didn't leave any for you." HAHA!

Yesterday, I went out with my sis and co. and her hubby recommend this place to us as this place was recommended by the makan guru, KF Seetoh.

Order 3 different dishes for $15
Order 4 different dishes for $18
Order 5 different dishes for $22

They have a total of 20 different food to choose from and they are either from the Chinese, Malay or Indian Cuisine.

I didn't bring my camera out yesterday, so hopefully my photos still turn out good. Lol!

The roasted duck is really delicious. I love to eat the skin =p

Roti Prata with fish head curry. The prata is really very crispy! You can hardly find or perhaps you can't even find this type of prata selling in any parts of Singapore!


Dip the crispy prata in this fish head curry is simply heaven.

Nasi lemak is just slightly above average as the nasi (rich)'s fragrance is not enough and probably insufficient use of the coconut.

Next time if you are looking for some affordable and delicious food, try out this place. It might be 10/10 but at least it is not very expensive even though it's located inside a hotel. =)

If I have the Sands of Time dagger...

I watched Price of Persia last night! It is awesome movie because Jake Gyllenhaal is in the movie! Lol! Just kidding. Overall the movie is alright even though it's predictable but still it's fun to watch.

If I have the Sands of Time dagger, I will probably used it on many occasion! Lol! I will probably use it during my primary school days. During those days, I should have pick to be better friend of SPY rather than someone else. What to do?! That time was like a tug-o-war, everyone is fighting to be friend with me and worse is they can't SHARE! All like same kids. Lol! Strange!

Then I might just use it again during my secondary school days, I will stop playing the stupid game call, A3 and I can retake my O level and go into polytechnic. Also, at the same time, I will tell my buddy, SPY not to get attached with that XX guy! After than I will tell her just go ahead and be with that Malaysian guy. He is much better than the cheater!

After the O level, my family & grassy went Genting, during that time I WILL TELL MYSELF NOT TO EAT LIKE A MAD WOMAN DURING THE BUFFET!!! That time was like hell for me, I vomit and etc etc... I even have to visit the clinic there =(

At the age of 21, which is probably the age when I graduate from poly (assuming if I manage to turn back time.HAHA) I will still do the same, get the same agent and get me into the bank job and met him =D Another is, I will straight tell A not to waste time on me. I might probably change for better and take less fake MCs. LOL!

Before my 21st birthday celebration, I will tell my bf to lock his bike so his bike will never be stolen and he would have appear in my 21st birthday celebration photos =(

I still got plenty of things I wish to change but it's all useless. So I rather take this time to treasure all my family and friends, especially Grassy & SPY. They are ones that I never wish change =)

Well, after movie, my sis, her hubby and dear went to eat Botak Jones. As its already like 9pm plus, I decided not to eat so much and so I shared the food with my dear.

Western food @ Rasa Sayang

After buying my new lumix lx 3, I happily went taking the pictures of the food that we ate. The quality of the image is definitely better than my old Sony T77!


Italian sausage set - I can't taste much of the cheese but the sausages is nice. Hehe.



ChickenChop with mushroom sauce - Very normal. I can't even tastethe mushroom sauce.

Overall, I'm quite disappointed. We should have tried some other stall at the AMK hawker centre. We went there last year, (check out the post here) the food portion is bigger and the food is definitely nicer.

Free western food at Flamin' Grills

I finally met up with my fellow Monz last night! We went to Upper Thomson to eat free western food! All thanks to SPY for telling us that there is such a good offer but no thanks to her for bringing us to such a far far away place. Luckily, Grassy's dad drove us to Clementi! If not I think I might reach home at 12mn. Hahaha!

Anyway, it's a promotion that onlt last for 3 days. So you probably won't get to eat anymore free food from them =P By the the portion given to us is smaller as it's free, when the promo is over, the portion will be bigger =)

It's just some overdue photos but well, I love to find good food (that's why i'm getting fatter -__-) So just sharing some nice food found @ Marina Square foodcourt. BTW, I didnt eat those food all in 1 day. The food that are shown in the photos are ate on different days.
