Homeschooling Day 25

Homeschooling Day 25 was all about fun, learning, and a little bit of sweetness! We dove into some of my son’s favorite activities, keeping the day lively and engaging.

We kicked things off with some playful time with jelly babies. My son loves stacking, sorting, and even pretending they’re little characters in his imaginative games.

Next, we turned to one of his all-time favorite activities: picture puzzles. I’ve stocked up on five or six different puzzles to keep him entertained, and today we tackled two. The first was a Chinese Zodiac puzzle, where he matched animals to their signs, learning a bit about culture along the way. The second featured all sorts of animals, from lions to penguins, which had him excitedly naming each one as he pieced them together.

This puzzle is on the different types of animals!

These puzzles are more than just fun—they’re helping him with problem-solving and fine motor skills, all while feeding his curiosity about the world. Watching him focus and light up when he fits a piece perfectly is such a joy.

Days like this make homeschooling feel like an adventure. Blending play, learning, and a touch of sweetness keeps us both smiling. Here’s to more puzzle-solving and jelly baby fun!
