Homeschooling Day 7

9:30am - Breakfast
10:30am - Create a rainbow using colourful ice cream stick & cotton wool

I don't think he knows how to handle UHU glue properly so I just use double side tape for him to paste.

Doing some random colour from his school worksheet.

Maybe today is Monday. I don’t feel very motivated. After dinner basically just free and easy. He enjoys watching “Bob the train” and dance along to the music.

Before bed I let him read the numbering on the magnetic board.   The magnetic sheet, I bought it from ezbuy. I find this very future as I can buy different magnetic stuff for me to teach him and for him to learn.

Hope for a better day tomorrow!

Home Schooling Day 4

Here we go again! Today wasn’t really a fruitful day ๐Ÿคฃ

10:00pm - Finger painting

Apparently he doesn’t really like finger painting. He kept on wanting to run away and ended up pouring out the paint. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I went to take out coloured markers for him to colour the globe. I tried to get him to colour within the circle. I guess he has tried his best to do it. ๐Ÿ˜…

I tried sand art with him but it doesn’t work well. The sands ended up on the table instead of the paper.

I am the one being tired of trying to find out what he prefer to do ๐Ÿ˜… In the end, he went to dig up his basketball to play.

12:00pm - Shower & waterplay! (No naked photo ๐Ÿคฃ)

After dinner, basically I just took out whatever I have to entertain him. Trying my very best to avoid letting him to use ipad!

He is trying to fix the basketball pole

It is only day 4 but it already feels like a month! I hope I can continue to think of fun things for him to engage in ๐Ÿ˜…

Keeping Kristoff’s attention is no small feat—he’s a bundle of energy! I had hoped to read some books with him, but he’s not quite there yet. He’s all about bright, colorful pictures, which totally tracks for his age. So, we’re leaning into activities like painting and crafts that light up his world. It’s a reminder that he’s still young, and learning through play is perfect for him right now.

This homeschooling adventure is all about finding what makes him smile and sneaking in a little learning along the way. Here’s to a day full of fun and maybe a few messy paint-covered hands!
