I am number 23!

Yea, I know my blog title sounds like the upcoming movie, 'I am number 4'. Haha! Anyway, I am officially 23 years old on 10th February! I know I am not VERY OLD but I keep thinking that I am still 21 years old. The thought of adding 1 to my age every year is quite scary actually.Oh anyway....

Reason why I should win a pair of movie tickets to I Am Number Four preview screening

Number 1:

My sis is small size, easy to target so she is number 1. She probably will get kill if she is in the movie. =X

Number 2:

I am the youngest among the 4 of us and that makes me number 4! (Maybe in my dream, I will be the lead actress in movie. Hahaha! )

I am the birthday girl and winning the tickets will come as a bonus for me =p

Has everyone seen the trailer for 'I am number 4' yet? It really seems like a great movie that is definitely worth watching. I enjoy watching those hero with supernatural power. Even though it is not real, still it's cool and awesome isn't it? What's more? The producer for this film is Michael Bay, the same guy who produce Transformer (1 of my favorite movie of all time)!

Nuffnang Movie Contest – “Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time”

1. If you have a dagger that turns back time, what event/danger would you change?

I will definitely turn back to the time when I'm taking my O levels. During that period I was so addicted to this MMORPG game called, A3 (the company has already closed down -___-) and I wasted all my precious time away by playing games instead of studying hard for my O level.

In the end, I scored a disappointing result for my O level. Even though I managed to get a A2 for my history and passed the rest of my subjects with an average grade but I GOT A F9 FOR MY MATH! WTF! The result is bad because of my MATH!! I failed to get into poly, I refused to go ITE and I didn't want to retake my Math.

I was kinda lost and I went to take up a private course for preschool teaching. After I obtain the certificate, I didn't become a kindergarten teacher. I take up a job as a Distributor Support Representative. The salary was bad and I decided to take up another private diploma course from PSB academy. I have graduated and now taking a degree course in UOL. Blah blah blah... I can go on and on to whine about my regrets but well all this has already happen.

If I can turn back time, I will definitely study hard again for my O level! I not only can save my time and also my parent's hard earned money =(

In reality, even now I can't turn back the time I will definitely continue to work hard in my studies and my own future!

Alice in Wonderland

I cannot help but love Alice. She's the child in all of us. Grown up enough to feel that she is able to care for herself in the world, but young enough to have a great sense of adventure and also an intense curiosity of the world...to the point of being dangerous! She is brave but she is shy. She is smart, but doesn't take her own advice (like most of us) She is bold, yet humble. She is such a girl! She changes her mind from minute to minute, but all the while, try her best to be lady like and cordial...I just cannot help but make Alice my favorite character :)

My blogging journey with Nuffnang!

Why I love Nuffnang? Well it's very simple, it not just brings all the bloggers together and it also helps people to earn extra income. You might be thinking what Nuffnang is so good about for for noob blogger like me as I'm also not Xiaxue or people like Kennysia. I definitely cannot earn 10k for a month! Pssst! I think I can't even earn $10 a month. Haha!

But well, whenever I hover my cursor to 'Analytics' in the Nuffnang website, I will feel a mini sense of achievement because this is how much visitors I generate for each week! Even though it might not be alot but Nuffnang definitely keeps my motivation for blogging going on.

My favourite cooking experience!

Nuffnang Movie Contest

Personally, my favourite cooking experience should be the day whereby I decided to cook western food for my Da Xiang (who else? My bf =P)! When you see those pictures you will definitely thinks, "Wao liew! You call these western food? Everything is like 1 dish by itself. What is it sia!" This is exactly what I thought too. I don't really know what I'm doing, I just basically cook whatever I know and it's just for fun! Haha. You know, I'm not a "cooking person" so the person who gets to eat my food should count themselves lucky. Hahaha.

I already tried to cook same thing for 2 days. LOL. Anyway, just let the pictures speaks for itself :)

The colour looks nicer than the 1st attempt but... The chicken was harder =/

Personally, I think the biggest turn-off during a date are:

1) LATE when meeting up!!! I can say I'm quite punctual when meeting friends so I expect guys to be punctual or reach the destination before I do. If the guy is always late, he most likely won't see me again.

2) Keep making his hair while we are chatting or eating. Come on! If you're are really good looking, you will be. If you are really ugly, no matter how to style or tidy your hair, you are still ugly!!

3) Keep staring at me as though as I'm an alien. See somemore! I dig your eyes out! Such guys are damn disgusting.

4) Keep telling me how good he is. If he is good or bad, it's up to me to judge, I don't need him to show off to me about how good he is. *thumps down*

5) Guys who don't offer to pay for the bill after a dinner. If he don't do it, it kinda shows that he is damn stingy! So just stay away from him! Haha.

Anyway, there's this new movie coming out, The ugly truth.The story is about Abby, who is having difficulty in love and life. Although she does make time for dating, she's hardly ever asked out a second time due to her comprehensive background checklist of 10 things she wants in a man. Naturally, the checklist will scares off her potential men. Well which men won't?

One day her producer hires Mike Chadway to be the host of a crude talk show called The Ugly Truth. Mike is an anti-love, pro-lust chauvinist who claims to know exactly how every guy thinks. After that he takes up a challenge to help Abby to help her win the heart of her neighbour.

Anyway, I wanna watch it because I want to know the ugly truth of what makes men and women tick! Probably, I also wish to know how Mike guides Abby to seduce the man that she is interested. Oh, also I wish to have a good laugh after months of stress from work =D

Up up and away!

I saw this movie trailer in the cinema while waiting for the Harry Potter movie to start. The first thought came to me was, "I'm so gonna watch this!"

Anyway, the 2 main characters in the movie, 'Up' are Carl and Russell. After watching the trailer, I find them really interesting. Here's why:

Russell

I love the part when Russell came knocking at Carl's door and trying to 'assist' Carl but his offer was being turned down many times. Then Carl slammed the door on poor Russell's foot, I was like; "ouch!"

I believe many kids will just whine about how unlucky they are and after that they will give up and leave the place. But guess what? Russell stayed on! That's the part of the trailer, which shows Carl’s opened the door, and saw Russell was still hanging on at the corner of his house. He is truly like a little boy with a 'never-say-die' attitude!

The most hilarious part is at 2.03min of the video, he may had the "never give up" mentality but he was so clumsy. Haha.

Carl

He may look just like any disgruntled old man but this old man does come with an attitude! Woo! He may be stubborn but after all, he is still a thoughtful man. Even though he rejected Russell's offer many times, in the end he still allowed Russell to come into his house and joined him for the adventure!

I’m actually very curious about Carl’s character. I want to know what triggers him to convert his normal house into a “flying house” and use it to travel around for his adventure.

You know why I don't want to read more about Carl's character from the official website?

It's because I don't want any little tiny bits of spoilers to spoil my excitement for this movie!!! *grin*

Gosh! The more I said, the more I can't wait to see Carl and Russell’s adventure!!!
